If you love the glitz, athleticism, and showmanship of the Olympics, two years can seem like forever to wait. Fortunately for those of us in Colorado, we are not only a hop, skip, and a jump away from the world-famous Olympic Training Center, but also the new U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum:
Located in Colorado Springs, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum is a state-of-the-art, soon-to-be-open museum that promises to be unlike any other museum you have ever seen.
Named one of the 52 Places to Go In 2020 by the New York Times and one of the 9 Museum Openings Worth Planning Trips Around in 2020 by Condé Nast, the opening of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum is one of Colorado’s most anticipated events of the year… and for good reason!
Slated to open in May, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum will span a massive 20,000 square feet and house everything from interactive exhibits to a Hall of Fame and broadcast studio.
Do you think you have what it takes to be an Olympian? You can prove it at the U.S. Olympic Museum, which will even allow guests to test their strength and skills through a series of hands-on challenges.
Can’t wait for the museum to open? Neither can we! To be one of the first to know of the official opening date and other announcements, be sure to like the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum on Facebook .
While you’re waiting for the grand opening, be sure also to check out the world-famous Olympic Training Center, which is located to the northeast of the museum and offers an inside look at where and how the champions train.
The cost to tour the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center is $15 for adults. To learn more – or to buy your tickets – please visit their website .
