This December, the incredible Dillon Ice Castles will return to the Centennial State. These awe-inspiring frozen structures feel like something straight out of a fairy tale and truly must be seen to understand just how phenomenal they are.

Sponsored by Utah-based Ice Castles, LLC, the Dillon Ice Castles are a true treat for Coloradans, as they are only located a handful of other places, including Canada, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

According to Ice Castles, LLC, last year’s event brought tens of thousands of visitors to Dillon and contributed a massive $3 million to the local economy!

Founded in 2010, the Ice Castles are comprised of 25-million-pound blocks of ice that become all the more magical at night as they are illuminated by colorful LED lighting.

Construction on these icy palaces will take place over the next few weeks, so be sure to check the Ice Castles’ website for updates and the official opening day.

The Dillon Ice Castles are located at 351 La Bonte St. in Dillon. Admission starts at $15.95 for adults and $10.95 for children ages 4 to 11.
