Have you been to Granby?

It is no secret that Colorado is a landlocked state, but just because it is not close to any oceans does not mean we do not have any stunning lakes, rivers, or streams. Do you consider yourself to be somewhat of a mermaid and need to be near water? Then you may want to plan a trip to this picturesque Colorado town that is located right along the water:

In the winter you love to ski at Winter Park and boat around Grand Lake in the summertime, but have you had a chance to visit their neighboring Granby?
Incorporated in 1905, Granby sits pretty at an elevation of 8,000 feet and boasts not only beautiful views but ample outdoor recreation as well.
Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, or hunting, you are guaranteed only the best in Granby, which is tucked away right in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
As you may have already gathered from the title, Granby is also the location of one of Colorado’s best lakes, which is the aptly named Lake Granby.
Spanning an impressive 8,284 feet, Lake Granby is the third largest lake in Colorado and offers more than 40 feet of shoreline, making it a popular spot for boating, fishing, and swimming.
While the beautiful lake is reason enough to visit Granby, the small town of nearly 2,000 is also chock full of shopping, dining, and sightseeing options, making it perfect for a weekend away.
