Fall traditions that Colorado invented

♫Fall time and the livin’ is easy♫ Right? Well, yes and no. The leaves may be extraordinary colors, but we have still had to deal with abnormally high temperatures, followed by freezing cold and snow. Despite this, however, it is still an incredible season, and Coloradans have invented new ways of celebrating, including these seven timeless fall traditions:

1. Sticking with our men no matter what.
2. Roasting Pueblo chiles.
3. Drive up (or down) the mountain to hear the elks bugle.
4. Lose friends by taking them to one of the best haunted houses in America.
5. Sit in a pool while there’s a blizzard.
6. Adding various fall flavors to your beer.
7. Race a coffin around town.
